It is the story of two things (cheaters), Ravi (shatrughan Sinha) & bijli (Hema Malini). They start up with small cases like pick pocketing etc. and end up with big smugglings for ranjeet (Ajit). Ranjeet kills madan seth (satrughan sinha in double roll) and entraps ravi in the murder case. He blackmails ravi for his business. Ranjeet is also the killer of brigadier ram father of bijli. A drunkered jaggu(kesto mukerjee) takes her with him when she was young. Since then her mother sulochana who stays with son dheeraj (deeraj Kumar) and blind daughter (Sarika), still waiting for kamla, bijli's real name. Accidently being responsible for suicide of a poor, bijli changes and decide to leave the con job. She takes care of the kid whose parents mr. & mrs. kishorelal (dev kumar & kanan kaushak) are being killed by ranjeet's man michael (M. Rajan). Ravi fall in love with kamala and helps her in saving the kid now from ranjeet. Ranjeet want to kill this kid as he the only witness of his parents's murder. Ranjeet comes to know the about the truth of bijli after seeing jaggu's photo. He kidnap's her mother and blind sister too and makes a full fledge plan to finish the entire family ravi too support his acts as he wants quick money will kamla (bijli) be able to save herself and the entire family. Will ravi to go change of heart ? will ranjeet get the real punishment for what he has done since these year ?
