The story tells a poignant saga of love and sacrifice. The village heads daughter Rekha and the new forest range officer Gyan fall in love with each other at first sight. Trupti , a city girl who had mentally become unstable on being deceived by her lover, falls in love with Gyan-who resembles her lover-and is cured. On realizing the unflagging love of Gyan for Rekha, Trupti walks out of their lives.
