Sharad Mazgaonkar, a young bachelor, having joined a distant factory as supervisor, finds himself in an awkward predicament, as his boss, the personal manager and his own close friend want to pawn their daughters on him. Sharad, however, falls in love with Renu - whose inital abhorance for him later turns into love. Sharad, with the help of his friend, puts up a facade of a debaucher and a drunkard to desit his bosses from grabbing him as their son-in-law. Renu also misunderstands Sharad. Her doubts are cleared in time and they are united much to the discomfort of his bosses.
