Meena the only daughter of retired Militory officer Mr.Chowdhary, now residing at Matheran was very fond of music. She used to come to Bombay and take music lesson from Syambabu. She also used to love him but Syambabu was not a decent man. . One day while coming to Bombay, she met her Auntys son Chaila who was also travelling by the same train. They always used to quarrel with each other. With the help of a hand some unknown (Rajoo) she escaped from Chaila. This handsome young man (Rajoo) was captivated by Meenas beauty at very first sight. Meenas aunty had already arranged Meenas marrige to Jawahar, The son of col Vazirchand. As it was vication time Meenas friend Rekha had also come to Matheran. When Jawahar come to Matheran he felt in love with Rekha, thinking her to be Meena. Rajoo, could not bear the seperation of Meena in Bombay, and so with the help of his friend Dhondu, went to Matheran. On reaching Matheran, he came to Meenas place and gave a chit to Mr.Chowdhary himself thinking him to be gardner of the Bunglow. Now Chowdhary came to realase that Meena was in love with another man. In the mena time Chaila had robbed Rekhas ornaments and had given it to his fiancee Everbody in the house came to know of the robbery On reading the chit Meena went to meet Syambabu but found Rajoo insted. This gave rise to some more misunderstanding, because Mr.Chowdhary had already announced the engagemnet of Rajoo and Meena aongst his friends and relative.
