Vineet Kumar is a veteran actor, well known for playing negative and character roles. He has done a number of Hindi films and television serials. He is sometimes credited as Vinit Kumar or Binit Kumar also.

He has appeared in a number of Hindi films. These include Drohkaal, Kachche Dhaage, Aks, Yeh Dil, Soch and Shool. Apart from Bollywood movies he has also worked on Hollywood assignments such as Bhopal: Prayer for Rain with Martin Sheen and Mischa Barton. He has also appeared in a few regional Tamil and Bhojpuri movies. He was the main villain in original telugu version of Rowdy Rathore - Vikramarkudu.
