Prabhas is an Indian film actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. Prabhas was born to late U. Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari. His family is from Mogalturu village and later moved to bhimavaram in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. He is the youngest of three children, with an elder brother Pramod Uppalapati and sister Pragathi. He is the nephew of Telugu actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju. Prabhas made his film debut with the 2002 drama film, Eshwar. His works include Varsham (2004), Chatrapathi (2005), Chakram (2005), Billa (2009), Mr. Perfect (2011), and Mirchi (2013) for which he received the state Nandi Award for Best Actor. In 2014 he appeared in the Bollywood film Action Jackson directed by Prabhudeva. In 2015, he played the title role in the epic Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), which is the third highest-grossing Indian film to date. The sequel of Baahubali: The Beginning, Baahubali: The Conclusion is set to release worldwide on 28th of April 2017.
