Patralekha is an Indian film actress, who is originally called as Anwita Paul. She is making her bollywood debut with her first film "City Lights". She will be seen playing the main lead role opposite Rajkummar Rao. It was Rajkummar who suggested Patralekha to act opposite him in the film.

Patralekha did her college studies at Mumbai. During her college studies, one of her friends was working with B.R Chopra’s production house. She got an ad film through that friend. Though the ad film never got released she later received many offers as a model. Thus she reached ad world and TV commercials. During her college days in 2008, she earned more than 50,000 rupees a month as a successful model. It was her dream to become an actress and she joined Barry John’s acting school for a three-month acting course.
