Pamela Jain is a Hindi singer. Jain was born to a Bengali family. Both her parents, Shri Kamelesh Basu and Smt. Shakuntala Basu, inspired her to learn Classical music. She is the grand daughter of famous Bengali novelist, Shri Bimal Mitra of Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (novel) fame. Furthermore, her husband Ashwin Jain has been a major support in pursuing her career as a singer.

For establishing her foothold in the field of music, she went to Mumbai and got her first break when she was given the assignment for singing a song for the film Na Tum Jaano Na Hum in 2000 by the legendary music director Rajesh Roshan.

Then, she sang numerous other super hit songs for almost all leading music directors of present generation including Oscar winning maestro A.R.Rahman, Shri Ravindra Jain, Anand Raj Anand, Sandesh Sandiliya, Lalit Sen, Sohail Sen, Jeet Ganguly, Pritam and various regional music directors. One of her biggest hits was the song “KumKum” for the mega-serial Kumkum.
