Manish Goel’s life seems to have been inspired by a typical filmi story depicting a boy running away from home to the ‘city of dreams’ with stars in his eyes to make it big in the so-called bad world of glamour. His journey to the entertainment world started at the tender age of nine when he received an award for a role in an inter-school competition.

The major turning point in Manish’s career came when Ekta Kapoor who had noticed him in the Jassi Kudi video called him up. She cast him in Bandhan, which fetched him 2000 rupees per day. From the initial seventy episodes his role was increased to 70 episodes in the very first day.

After his role in Bandhan got over he was cast in the popular soap Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. Soon after this he found himself in Ghar Ek Mandir and Kuch Khona Hai Kuch Pana Hai.
