Kanishtha Dhankar, is a model who crowned Pantaloons Miss India beauty contest in 2011 on October 23, 2010.

Kanishtha began her career in Modelling and then moved on to Indian films. In 2008 she appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar's film Fashion as Model appearance with Priyanka Chopra.

Kanishtha Dhankar, Miss India World 2011, hails from hails from Jhajjar district in Haryana that shot to infamy for having the worst sex ratio in the country at 774 girls per 1,000 boys in the 2011 census.
