Darshan Kumar is an Indian film actor who prominently works in Bollywood. He is mostly known for his works in Mary Kom film. Kumar was born in New Delhi, India. At the age of 24, he move to Mumbai and worked with Sahej theatre group for five years and later with Motley Productions where he met and learned from Naseeruddin Shah for next 10 years. Kumar was offered to attend audition for the 'Mary Kom' film by the casting director of the film. Kumar's first movie was NH10 with Anushka Sharma but it was Mary Kom with Priyanka Chopra that was released first.
