Amit Tandon (born April 11, 1979) is an Indian musician and television actor. He was first seen on television as one of the 11 finalists of the first season of Indian Idol. He was eliminated early and has since become a television actor whilst doing music. In 2008, he released his debut solo album Tanha. He has recently joined Dill Mill Gayye as Dr. Abhimanyu Modi, who introduces himself as the new head, initially taking over the hospital the series is set in. Tandon is of American nationality, coming from New York from where he graduated Stony Brook University.
