Anil Kapoor is currently juggling the promotions of his next, Shootout At Wadala, with the shooting of the Indian version of hit international series 24. The actor might be keeping a hectic schedule, but he says that it is daughter, Sonam, who’s giving him competition. “She has been busier than me. And it’s fabulous. Sonam’s going through an exciting phase in her life and this is just the beginning of a hopefully glorious career for her. But more than that, what I want is that she has a glorious life as a human being. As parents, that’s all that Sunita (Kapoor, his wife) and I wish for.” Ask him how he and Sonam manage to take time out to be with family and he says, “Sonam loves being on the sets and so do I.

When Sunita sees us happy doing what we are, she’s glad. And when we all meet, it’s one big gathering and a very exciting time for all of us.” Although his son Harshvardhan is making his foray into Bollywood — albeit in direction — Anil says that there is no pressure on him just yet. “Harshvardhan is still a student. He’s still young, so let him have a good time right now. Let’s not put pressure on him. He’s chilling and relaxing. His film is going to start now. He wants to assist Anurag Kashyap on Bombay Velvet. That will be his first assignment in front of the world.” With all his kids having found their calling in life, Anil couldn’t be a happier man. “Everyone’s grown up and busy with their lives. I’m on top of the world right now.”
