Sherlyn Chopra, who is the first Indian actress to appear nude on the cover of Playboy, is gearing up for the international magazine’s release shortly. She says, “Imagine my name being taken in the same breath as Marilyn Monroe and Madonna! Doing the photo shoot was one of the most intelligent decisions I made. I have no regrets and I’m hoping for it to pave way for international assignments. But the one thing I learnt is that nanga hokar photo shoot karna azaadi nahi hai. Actual azaadi soch main honi chahiye. There should be complete freedom of thought for a progressive society. But people’s hypocritical attitude mars that.” Sherlyn is currently getting ready to up the hotness quotient on the latest season of MTV reality show Splitsvilla.

Unlike the earlier seasons, where the contestants were judged on the tasks assigned to them, the latest season introduces this new segment, called Hotness Quotient, where they will be judged on the desirability factor that is not limited to brawn and beauty alone, but also wit and intelligence. Sherlyn says, “A guy may sport six packs, but dimag se ‘hot’ nahin toh kya faayda? He will be voted out. Ditto for the girls. I found the concept interesting and agreed to do it.” She is likely to be seen in backless tops and mini skirts, but says that the makers have told her to be careful about her demeanour. “In a masti mood, I should not say anything objectionable or objectify a particular contestant,” she says.
