While every actor talks about trying different genre, Vidyut Jamwal has no qualms about being just seen as an action hero. "You will see Vidyut only do real action and I will do it till I am able to. I am ready to be typecast and this is what I am born to do," the 32-year-old said here Tuesday in an interview. "Action-romance, action-comedy, action-drama, action is a major part of my life," added Jamwal, who will soon be seen in ‘Commando’, in which he will be seen doing real stunts by himself. Directed by Dilip Ghosh, ‘Commando’ also stars former Miss India Pooja Chopra and hits theaters April 12. Vidyut admits to being a huge fan of some big Bollywood action heroes but doesn`t want to take anybody`s place.
"I have been a huge fan of Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty. I feel it is wrong to ask whose place one would like to take as everyone has the right to carve his own place. I also want to make a place for myself where there is real action and which we can represent as belonging to India," Vidyut said. Trained in Kalaripayattu, a martial art form from Kerala, Jamwal also talked about a compliment he recently received from a Hollywood director. "One Hollywood director recently told me that your style of action is very different from regular Bollywood stuff. That made me happy and I want to tell the world that we are much better than Hollywood," said Vidyut who was appreciated for his work in his first Bollywood movie ‘Force’.
