Bombay sagas seem to be the hottest favourites among the present-day filmmakers as they are up to making movies based on the city of dreams. Anurag Kashyap is one of the bright examples among them. Buzz is on that the talented filmmaker of Gangs of Wasseypur fame, Kashyap is planning to make another Bombay saga titled Bombay Velvet, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

Presently, the director is busy with one of the four stories for the May release Bombay Talkies, celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema. The filmmaker tweeted, “For me 100 years of cinema is a time to party because Indian cinema has survived for so long and grown from strength to strength.” The official announcement has not been made yet, though the filmmaker himself revealed his Bombay Velvet plans on Twitter. So a new onscreen magic is in waiting to be created by Anurag Kashyap through a multitalented Ranbir and a spontaneous Anushka.
