Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi who has been essaying rustic roles so far, is set to step in urban shoes for her next. Huma played a Punjabi girl in Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana and a village girl in her debut Gangs of Wasseypur. In both of her films she is seen wearing Indian outfits like salwar kurta. This time, in Kannan Iyer's Ek Thi Daayan, Huma will break her desi girl image and will be seen in western wear. She will be seen with Emran Hashmi

A source close to the actor says, "Due to her character requirements in her earlier two films, the general perception of her was that of being a desi girl. Both the films had a similar styling. But in her new film, she finally gets a chance to shed her rustic image." "It will come as a pleasant surprise to see the salwar kameez clad Wasseypur girl in a mod makeover," added the source. Huma will play a modern, confident Mumbai girl in her upcoming film.
