Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan were clicked at an event held to celebrate the success of ‘The Shiva Trilogy’ penned down by Amish Tripathi at Hotel Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai, on Sunday evening. Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog: “Amish Tripathi the author of the Shiva Trilogy, was celebrating the huge success of his last book - “The Oaths of the Vayuputras”.

His earlier two books have created history in the publishing world of India. Never before have so many books been sold in advance and in print orders to the tune of millions. We are used to celebrating the success of our films, a cricket series or a world cup victory. But the success of a book, is a first as far as I am concerned. There was music and dance and video clips and fanfare, just like an Award ceremony for films … quite quite unique !!”
