Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all time favorite stunt hero for the audience, but he is not only known for his action image, but also for his famous love story...oops...we mean stories. We all know that he has a strong gut to do dangerous action sequences but he also has had soft corners in his heart for many Bollywood beauties. Mr. Khiladi and Raveena Tondon's love story was delivered by almost all the leading newspapers of '90s. The tale from reel life to real life was one of the most dramatic Bollywood love story. The actors did Mohra together in 1994 as their chemistry was highly appreciated by the audience and they gave several hits together thereafter.

There was a strong buzz that couple is in love in real life, this first love story of Akshay, fortunately or unfortunately, was not the last. Actor name was linked with Ayesha Jhulka and Pooja Batra before he was engaged to Raveena. As per Akshay's wish, Raveena decided to quit her acting career as she herself said in an interview in 1999 that Akshay used to blackmail her for this. In 1996, the couple did Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi which featured Rekha also. Everyone was waiting for the couple's social announcement for marriage but suddenly a rumor surprised Bollywood along with the audience.

During the shooting of the film Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, his link-up rumors with actor Rekha surfaced and then Raveena said in an interview that she is not committed to Akshay. But regarding this rumor Mr. Khiladi and madam Maya(Rekha) was mum. They didn't said anything, why? We can't say. May be Akshay couldn't provide Rekha with the security blanket she needed desperately which is why their relation didn't worked and they decided to keep shut about it. Raveena said, "Akshay tolerated Rekha because of the film. At one point, she wanted to get lunch for him from home. That's when I put my foot down. I felt it was taking things a bit too far. She's a wonderful person, but she should learn where to draw the line."

Akshay said about relationship with Raveena, "It takes two hands to clap.I cannot be solely blamed for what happened in the relationship. If things soured, it happened because of both of us and not just me."Raveena was also annoyed with Akshay because she caught Akshay red handed with Rekha and Sushmita as she said that when she had an affair with the actor, loyalty meant a lot to her. Once again Akshay came up with link-up rumors with another actor and that was Shilpa Shetty.
Shilpa entered in Bollywood with the film Baazigar with Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, Shilpa was second female lead in the film.

Khiladi Kumar and Shilpa worked together in Main Khiladi Tu Anari and rumor was that Shilpa is responsible for Akshay and Raveena's break as both actresses came in Kumar's life almost together but link-up rumors with Shilpa came out after the couples break-up. But Tandon dismissed the rumor and said Shilpa was not responsible for their break-up. When Shilpa and Akshay were shooting for their film Dhadkan, Akshay started dating Twinkle Khanna and in the mid of the shooting Shilpa broke-up with Akshay and finally the actor got married to Twinkle Khanna as he did not wanted another break-up heading his way. Shilpa said in an interview that Akshay used me and when he got another one, he left me. But now both of them have become good friends. Only a wearer knows where the shoe pinches, so only the actors knew, whats went during the times, during such circumstances.
