The most sought after celebrity couple of Bollywood, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen together performing at the Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA) in Vancouver on April 6. After the birth of their daughter Aaradhya, Aishwarya would perform for the first time at an international stage. She was recently seen performing at the 50th Pond’s Femina Miss India, 2013.

Ahead of the event the couple is scheduled to spend several days at British Columbia Vancouver. On April 6, the red carpet of the gala awards show at BC Place Stadium will be hosted by Bollywood heartthrobs Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Comedian and actor Boman Irani will also join Ranbir-Anushka in hosting the show. A big concert will take place at the Pacific Coliseum on April 4, choreographed by Vancouver resident Shiamak Davar and will be followed by screening of Bollywood’s several movies on April 5.

Other big names from Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, Sunidhi Chauhan and more will also share the stage with Ash and Abhi at the gala event. The B.C. government is spending $9.5 and additional $1.5 million on business forums and other trade events for this three-day occasion. The event is expected to strengthen ties between British Columbia and India.
