"Just like Shah Rukh, Mr. Bachchan was so nice to me" Deepika PadukoneAfter an eventful 2010 where Deepika had as many as five of her films arriving in quick succession, she also gained in her personal life with love coming her way. Now that she is resuming her campaign with Aarakshan, Deepika talks nineteen to the dozen about Saif, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and then of course Siddharth Mallaya.

On her return with Saif after Love Aaj Kal... It didn't matter if Saif and I were romancing in Love Aaj Kal and are now a part of a more dramatic journey in Aarakshan. And come on, even Love Aaj Kal didn't have us playing quintessential romantic souls. Remember how we broke up in the very opening sequence of the film?

On her film dealing with a rather dry subject of reservation... I guess it is futile to pass judgement before checking out what Aarakshan actually has to offer. In any case, if you look at my track record, I have done a number of such films which have been meaningful but then within commercial parameters. A film can be entertaining even without those regular song and dance affairs. On her confidence in Aarakshan... Whether a film is in the right direction or not is something that you get to know only on a Friday when it releases. However, one thing that I am very sure of is that the team's intentions are quite good here. If that wasn't the case, people like Prakashji, Mr. Bachchan and Saif wouldn't have come together.

On her journey that has spanned from Shah Rukh Khan (Om Shanti Om) to now Amitabh Bachchan (Aarakshan) Just like Shah Rukh had done so much for me in Om Shanti Om, even Mr. Bachchan was so nice to me. He made me very-very comfortable. However, even as the camera is rolling and you are mouthing your dialogues, you are constantly wondering if he is judging your performance. Really, it is indeed a big deal to be actually looking into his eyes and mouthing your dialogues. Trust me, it isn't easy.

On love and Siddharth Mallaya I don't like to hide facts and even earlier I presumed that when I would talk about a relationship of mine, media will respect my privacy. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work out well. This is the reason why I am a lot more conscious now about making any announcements related to my personal life.
