Sridevi has confirmed that she will star in the sequel to Mr India. The legendary actor played the female lead in the 1989 film co-starring Anil Kapoor. She told Hindustan Times: "I will be part of Mr India 2, but it is too early to talk about it as it is in the scripting stage. "We are working on the sequel to No Entry. Mr India will happen after that.
"Post-English Vinglish, I've been reading scripts but haven't decided anything yet. I only say yes to the script that makes me say wow." English Vinglish director Gaudi Shinde has said that she has no plans to make a sequel to the domestic drama. Sridevi has previously said that the film about a housewife learning English has "changed women's lives".
