Both 'I Me aur Main' and 'The Attacks of 26/11' had a poor start at the box-office, while last week's release Kai Po Che continued to mint money. The two new releases of the week, despite being backed by big names like Ram Gopal Varma and John Abraham, failed to get a decent initial at the box-office. The star value of John Abraham along with two pretty faces - Chitrangda Singh and Prachi Desai, were of no help to I Me aur Main which started on a very poor note and the business never showed any escalation over the weekend thanks to negative reviews on the film.
RGV's The Attacks of 26/11 seemed to be an incident that the audiences were not interested in revisiting. The reviews were mixed but the business is certainly poor. In comparison, last week's Kai Po Che continued to do good business and overpowered the new releases at the box-office. The coming week sees the release of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, the sequel to Tigmanshu Dhulia's much acclaimed 2011 film. Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan are new additions to the film while Mahie Gill and Jimmy Sheirgill will continue to reprise their characters from the original.
