Eminent choreographer of Bollywood Saroj Khan was admitted to the ICU at Bellevue hospital following high Diabetes and breathlessness last night in Mumbai. A close source adds "She is under strict observation of Dr.Lulla. Let's see what the Doctors have to say in the Morning. She was in a worse condition this midnight." Saroj Khan was recently seen in the dance reality show, ‘Nach Baliye’.

She took judge Shilpa Shetty’s seat as Shilpa could not attend the shoot for one day owing to her son’s illness. The veteran choreographer was recognized by National Cadet Corps (NCC) Lieutenant General BS Bhalla at an event in Delhi for her contribution in the field of dance. Recently, she matched steps with Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya in the movie, ‘ABCD’. Saroj Khan, the noted choreographer of Bollywood taught dancing to many Bollywood actresses.

Saroj Khan dancing journey started in 1963 when she was just 14. The first group dance that Sarojji did was with Madhubala in Howrah Bridge. From Rekha to Aishwarya every successful actress of every decade matched steps with Saroj Khan. Saroj Khan became permanent with filmmaker Subhash Ghai's home production. The first film she choreographed for Ghai is 'Hero'. She choreographed Meenakshi Shishadri and Jacky Shroff. In the 80's Saroj Khan said that she was most comfortable in choreographing Madhuri Dixit and Govinda. We wish the charismatic dancer a speedy recovery!
