The Oscar winner quashed rumours that he has written a script and plans to direct a movie by early next year There were reports that AR Rahman, the Oscar-Grammy winning music composer, would soon wield the megaphone for a movie and he was busy with script works.However, the Mozart of Madras has denied this. Rahman has cleared the air by saying that he had no plans to direct any film.
Interestingly, Rahman, who is now busy scoring music for international and Indian projects, is assisting his sister Rahaina in her attempt to come out with an album. It is said that Rahman supervised works related to a teaser of the album.This is the composer’s 20th year in cinema. He made his entry into Kollywood in the early 1990s with Roja directed by Mani Ratnam.
