The Dabangg actor talks about his surgery and thanks fans for being by his side as he recovers from the serious injury he suffered while playing for Sohail Khan’s team in Celebrity Cricket League. Sonu Sood is in a hell lot of pain right now. The actor had a rather ghastly injury and suffered multiple fractures while he was playing for a Celebrity Cricket League match in Dubai on Saturday. He is recuperating currently in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

The actor tweeted today from his hospital bed after a painful surgery and spoke about his condition, his recovery and the state of his movies, “Hi,2 plates n 17 screws finally helped be hold my broken bones.Should be fine in few weeks but feels bad for the cancelation of few films,” wrote Sonu.

He also went on to thank his fans and assured them that he will be fighting fit real soon! “Thanks a ton for ur wishes n prayers. Despite immense pain it keeps me going. Should be back on track soon.love u all :-)” Besides three South films, Sonu is currently shooting for the Zanjeer remake and was supposed to start Prabhu Deva’s Rambo Rajkumar from March 1, but now both the films are on hold as Sonu will only be back on his feet only after a month.
