2013 marks the first year in which no one knows what Salman Khan’s next movie will be and whether he will have an Eid release after “Wanted,” “Dabangg,” “Bodyguard” and “Ek Tha Tiger” in four consecutive years. For those who came in late, that’s supposed to be his lucky date. However, the film that seems will first make it to the marquee, if possible on Eid itself, is another South remake, “Mental,” for which names are being tossed about for the female lead. However, the winner is likely to be South star Daisy Shah,an oomphy number from Kannada films.

Shah is doing the usual “item” number in a small Hindi film called “Bloody Isshq” called “Danger Hai Laila.” And “Mental,” directed by Sohail Khan, will be her lead debut.Having assisted Ganesh Acharya for three years before modeling and doing South films, the Gujarati girl has done five films in Tamil and Kannada like “Bhadra” and the forthcoming “Aakramana.”  Tabu, who worked with Salman in “Jeet” as well as “Hum Saath Saath Hain” and “Biwi No.1” but never ‘romanced’ him, will play his sister in the film, earlier titled “Radhe.” It is a remake of the Chiranjeevi film “Stalin” on a war hero.
