A distinct voice makes way for some interesting songs. So is the case with Bangalore girl Soumya Rao who has come back to make news with her new number called Idhar Gire in the film Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. The singer, whose last number Dreamum Wakeapum in the Rani Mukerji and Prithviraj starrer Aiyaa went viral, believes the new one will turn out to be a popular track too.

Soumya, who is currently living in Mumbai, often takes up offers to sing for Kannada films as well. In fact, her last song in Sandalwood was one called Hale Patre which was picturised on Kannada actress Aindrita Ray. The singer is currently known to be working on a couple of singles which she hopes to release soon.
Idhar Gire has been compsed by yet another Bangalore boy Sandeep Chowta. The lyrics are by Kausar Munir and the film itself has been directed by Tigmanshu Dhuria.
