Model turned actress Taapsee Pannu, a known name in the South industry makes her Bollywood debut with David Dhawan's Chashme Baddoor. A remake of the original, Taapsee as Seema plays Ali Zafar's (Siddharth Parashar) love interest in the film. With a stream of new comers making their debut this year, Taapsee is confident about her launch pad. "I have always maintained from the beginning that Chashme Baddoor is the best launch for me and I couldn't have asked for more.
I'm very thankful to David sir", says the new comer. In her first seen itself, Taapsee had to kiss Ali Zafar. But it was her rapport and comfort level with her three co-stars (Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma play Ali's friends in the film) that made this possible for Taapsee. "I went through the end of it because of the three of them. I have known Siddharth for two years and it was great to work with Ali. But Divyendu is my favourite. We both are from Delhi and we just have this Sikh connection".
