Ekta Kapoor’s dilemma for a new actor to play Ayesha Kapoor comes to an end. Chahat Khanna, who played Ayesha Kapoor – Ram Kapoor’s second wife and Priya Sharma-Kapoor’s younger sister in Bade Acche Lagte Hain, is off to enjoy a blissful married life. The queen of soaps and the karta darta of Balaji Telefilms, Ekta Kapoor has found a new actor to play the bitchy character – Akanksha Juneja.
 

The actor was last seen in Star Plus’ Saath Nibhana Saathiya as Modi family’s neighbor. Prior to that, she was seen in Life OK’s Saubhagyavati Bhava as Raghav’s (Harshad Chopra) sister. Not too old in Tellywood, Akanksha is already making a mark and has begun shooting for the BALH, but will she be able to pull off the catty role? We don’t know that yet. Coming back to BALH, last week we saw Ayesha’s accident and her bloodied face – so obviously she would need a plastic surgery.

Ram and Priya are tormented by the guilt of the accident – not that they did anything to make it happen. The couple had decided to come together and ask Ayesha to get out of their lives, but now with the accident, we wonder how the plot will turn. Along with a face change, we wonder if Ayesha will suffer from short term memory loss too. Or will the vamp fake the whole amnesia to get sympathy from Ram and Priya. Most likely, she will do that and a lot more. Looks like Ram and Priya will have to wait a little longer to get back into the sack. Oops we mean back together!
