90-year-old Bollywood superstar Dilip Kumar has been dragged to court following a legal complaint filed by his two brothers over their Pali Hill bungalow in Mumbai. The two brothers, 77-year-old Ehsan Khan and 75-year-old Aslam Khan, accused Dilip Kumar of duping them breaking a promise to provide an apartment to each once the property was redeveloped at Pali Hill, a posh area in Mumbai.
The complainants also alleged that they were not paid the monthly maintenance, i.e. Rs 60,000, which they were promised while moving out of the bungalow in 2006. During an interview with a daily, the brothers were quoted as saying, "In less than a week, we will have nowhere to go. We also have no money left." However, in reply to the legal notice, Dilip Kumar's wife Saira Banu said, "We are entitled to our privacy which others must also respect. We have a lot to say in reply, but do not want to." Clarifying their stands on the controversial issues, the brothers asserted, "We are only asking for our share and nothing more. We don't want to fight, we just want justice."
