It is Akshay Kumar and not Salman Khan who will flag off the Jaipur Marathon on January 27. Not only that, this edition of the marathon promises to be high on Bollywood quotient, with actors Kajal Aggarwal, Mukesh Khanna, Sara Khan, Ashmit Patel all set to be here to encourage the participants. Not only stars, cricketers Rahul Dravid and Sreesanth will also join in and cheer the crowd along with Akshay Kumar. Marathon divided into two events - Jaipur International Half Marathon covering 21 km and Dream Run covering 6 km. "All these stars and cricketers will be present to boost the morale of the people participating in the event. Talks are still going on and we are trying to rope in some more Bollywood personalities," said Mukesh Mishra, organizer of the event.

Also, this time round, the marathon has been divided into various pre-events. And to give a world class experience to all the participants, these events will be celebrated on a grand level. There will be a health and lifestyle expo, which will be inaugurated by Lagaan actress, Gracy Singh. Then, there is a fashion show on January 25, based on the themes of Independent India, Respect Women, Corruption-free India, Healthy India and Clean and Green City Jaipur. And in this fashion with a cause event, Ashmit Patel will walk the ramp with models from Delhi and Mumbai. Also, sports personalities of India who have represented the country at various national and international events, including Sonika Kaliraman, Bhim Singh, and Vijay Kumar will also be felicitated at a ceremony on January 25.
