The 58th Filmfare Award function was very much special for the newly married Vidya Balan and the reason is very touchy and nostalgic. Vidya Balan was glowing as she walked the red carpet of the Filmfare Award with her dearest husband UTV head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur. "This is the first time I am coming with my husband (Siddharth Roy Kapur)", she says. As she arrived at the venue, she was stopped by media and questioned. Furthermore she shared the secret why this event is special to both Siddharth and herself, "Interestingly, I met Siddharth for the first time at the backstage at Filmfare Awards some years back.

So it is a very nostalgic feeling for me today. " Tonight the function will also celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema on which Vidya has to say, "The award night will be celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema and I am really happy to be a part of it". Like last year, this year too Vidya Balan shined for her performance in 'Kahaani'. She won many awards. Many Bollywod stars attended the event and among them were Madhuri Dixit and her husband Sri Ram Nene, Rekha too arrived at the event. Anushka Sharma looked lovely in yellow gown. She paid tribute to yesteryear heroines of Indian Cinema. Parineeti Chopra dressed in black. The evening was made glittering by Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's performance. Sharman Joshi arrived with his wife. Sayali Bhagat dressed in black saree. Sri Devi came with her husband and producer Boney Kapoor. Legendary singer Usha Uthup performed at the award show.
