His debut movie was based in the capital and now VJ-turned-actor Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to start shooting for Yash Raj Films' (YRF) untitled project here next month. "I will be shooting for the YRF film with Sonam and Rishi Kapoor for one month in Delhi from February. I am very excited that I will be in Delhi," Ayushmann told. Directed by Nupur Asthana, it is a romantic comedy about two lovers at the time of recession. The 28-year-old has signed a three-film deal with YRF and added: "Every association depends on its credibility. I have recently joined Yash Raj Films (YRF) and signed a three-film deal. They are the market leaders in filmmaking. It gives me a sense of security to be associated with credible people."
The actor, who made a dream debut in Bollywood with blockbuster 'Vicky Donor', was here to inaugurate jewellery brand Gili's - Gili World store Thursday.
Though his acting has taken him to Mumbai, but Ayushmann misses all the hustle-bustle of the capital.
"I like everything about Delhi. I am from Chandigarh, but Delhi is like home. I miss the loudness of Delhi's culture in Mumbai," he said. When asked about the gang rape of the 23-year-old in the capital last month, Ayushmann said cultural divide is the reason behind such crime. "I think is it the cultural divide. We have two separate India - urban and rural. Lopsided sex ratio, development and lack of sex education is the reason for all this. When people from rural India come to urban India, they pass judgments on the women, which is not right. It will take a while to change. You cannot change it overnight. A revolution can only change this," he said.Ayushmann's next release is Rohan Sippy's 'Nautanki Saala' coming out April 12
