Many a tongue started wagging the moment Sajid Khan announced the remake of the 80's classic hit Himmatwala. Determined that he is, he went ahead with the remake and signed up Ajay Devgn and southern sensation Tamannah for the film.

And in order to add 'more authenticity' to the remake, Sajid came up with a unique idea of recreating the sets (as that of the original) for the song 'Tathiya Tathiya'. When asked whether the comparisons between the two songs will worry him, Sajid said even though he wanted people to compare both the films as he has done justice to the original, he felt that it will be unfair to compare Ajay to Jeetendra since the latter's image was strong as a dancer. Meanwhile, Farah Khan, who choreographed the song, said that she wasn't sure if Ajay would have been able to match the steps of Jeetendra, but he did it so well that the whole unit broke into applause. On his part, Ajay said that every aspect of the song, ranging from costumes to choreography has been chalked out with precision. This will surely be an interesting song to watch out.
