IPL 2011: Shilpa Shetty talk about her team: Hope for best: Shilpa Shetty’s team Rajasthan Royals has won the opening game of IPL4. She is proving herself to be a far better team owner and an entrepreneur than Shah Rukh Khan with respect to the IPL.Her team even had a better track record in the previous seasons of the IPL compared to Shah Rukh’s team Kolkata Knight Riders.

But in films it is just the opposite. Shilpa’s team Rajasthan Royals also won the title during the first season of the IPL. On the other hand Shah Rukh’s team Kolkata Knight Riders despite having players with great potential has not been up to the mark. His team has IPL4’s costliest player Gautam Gambhir as its captain. Kolkata Knight Riders lost the opening game against Rajasthan Royals by 2 runs.

After the match, Shah Rukh remained silent but his partner and the co-owner of KKR stated “Haar ke aage hi jeet hai. Never say die. Never give up …ziddi hain hum …KKR. No apologies, No excuses, Hua so hua. We move on …and try harder next time.”

Shilpa tweeted, “Sweet thrill of winning. Never won the 1st game in 4yrs ever! Felt good for a change. Thanks so much for al the good wishes. Go Royals.”Hope King Khan can create his box office magic in the stadium too.
