The actress has turned down three offers to perform on New Years and will be spending time with her family. Priyanka Chopra has always been very close to her father, Dr Ashok Chopra. His health deteriorated at a rapid pace this year. However, Priyanka stood by him as an anchor and helped him sail through.

Priyanka had various professional commitments with release of two big films - Agneepath and Barfi and the launch of her music album. She has been under a lot of stress professionally and emotionally. Yet she managed per professional and personal life with the perfect poise.

So when the 2012 is coming to an end, Priyanka Chopra has decided to bring in the New Year with her father. "She has turned down three offers to perform on New Years and will be spending time with her family", confirms her official spokesperson.
