Govinda has reportedly been cut out of key scenes from a delayed Priyanka Chopra release. The film failed to find backers in 2006, but will now be released and re-titled Deewana Hoon Main.Producer KC Bodakia told Mumbai Mirror: "[Govinda's] looks have changed so much since we began shooting, we thought it is best to re-shoot a few portions with only Priyanka.
"She came and completed a few more scenes which we have included in the film."However, Govinda denied that he was aware of the film coming off the shelf. He said: "Whenever a lead actor's film is ready for release, he gets a call from the producer informing him about it. I have not got any call from Mr Bokadia, so I don't know a thing about it."
Deewana Hoon Main is rumoured to be a remake of the 1985 hit Pyaar Jhukta Nahin.Govinda recently claimed that Avatar will be his comeback film in Bollywood. He revealed in February that he had dieted for three and a half months to reach his target weight for the film.
