No doubt, Sanjay and Salman share a great bond and have remained thick friends; time and again they have done cameos for each other’s film with no ifs and buts. So what’s stopping Sanjay; is he still upset with Sallu for having picked up a fight with good friend Bunty Walia at Manyata’s birthday bash a few days back? Bodyguard needs a macho man to play Salman’s father, someone whom he idolizes. Sanjay seems to be just tailor-made for the role. Producer and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri too confirms this to a tabloid that Salman only wants Sanjay, and since this is a guest appearance it wouldn’t take that long for Sanjay to complete the shoot.
The sources even claim that Salman will not take no for an answer and will convince his friend. “If Dutt asked him to play a walk-on part in a film, Salman wouldn't think twice before doing it. So he sees nothing wrong in offering Dutt his father’s role, and he won’t take a no for an answer,” the source is quoted as saying. What could be a better way to end the stalemate than have Dutt play a cameo in Bodyguard? Is this Salman’s way to bring Sanjay closer? The duo also has to start shooting for Bigg Boss Season 5 soon.
