The original Dhoom released in 2004, almost a year after Katrina Kaif entered Bollywood with Boom. Till then, Katrina was merely an entity, the purpose of whom was restricted to decorating a film. But times have changed, Katrina Kaif now hails as one of most celebrated Bollywood beauties in tinsel town and she is the leading female actor of Dhoom 3.
Katrina, after some hardcore kicking in Ek Tha Tiger, is ready again in Dhoom 3 to match the presence of the genius in Bollywood - Aamir Khan. For her role in Dhoom 3, the prettiness has learned acro-dancing, which is considered to be a difficult-to-learn dance form. The dance form is a combination of classic moves grafted together with gymnastic-moves.
Katrina came under the Salman shelter and grabbed on some major chunks of Bollywood roles by her ex-flames's influence. Although, being a foreigner, she worked towards what was rendered to her and slowly and steadily learned the art of delivering hits after hits.
The girl became a household name, bagging fame and fortune. Now, after becoming the glamour doll, she has struck the role of the famous Dhoom franchise in which she hopes that she delivers to the expectations.
Relating to the same, the first Dhoom girl, Esha Deol, is hoping that Katrina Kaif, who becomes the diva and the male attention in the third part of the franchise Dhoom 3, does justice to her role and to the film.
Dhoom was one of the best film in Esha’s career, in which she played the seductress and also donned a bikini to upsurge the ‘oomph’ factor. Esha says, “I am sad that I am not a part of the whole franchise. But I wish Katrina lives up to the expectations that come with the ‘Dhoom’ tag. I am sure she will because she is a brilliant actress.”
The film is currently under production and will release next year. The YRF venture is directed by Vijay Krishna and produced by Aditya Chopra. The cast from the past include the cop duo - Abhishek Bachchan as ‘Jai’ and Uday Chopra as ‘Ali’.
