Earlier this year, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, widely regarded as Indian fashion's high priestess, was welcomed by the Ferragamo family at Palazzo Spini Feroni - Ferragamo's headquarters since 1938. Sonam had visited the Florentine label as part of the "Shoes for a Star" project where she had met with expert shoe designers and technicians from the brand.

These experts also took her feet's measurement for wooden lasts - an essential part of the Ferragamo shoemaking process. Along with the shoe designer, Sonam created a customized pair of shoes in line with her tastes, which has resulted in what can only be called a work of art!

And now, on December 19, the brand will present Sonam her made-to-measure shoes at the Salvatore Ferragamo Boutique in Mumbai, the same pair which she designed with the brand's shoe designer during her visit to Palazzo Spini Feroni.

A grand high tea ceremony has been planned, where Sonam will be interacting with the media as well as officials from the brand, before she accepts the pair of shoes she created. While Sonam's love for shoes is quite well known, this coveted pair is one that we are assuming the actress will surely treasure for a long while!
