After scaling new heights with movies such as, Ek Tha Tiger and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, it seems actor Katrina Kaif is looking for new pastures. "I would love to be gifted a ring," she said at an event in the city this week. "But not an engagement ring. I can wear it on any finger," she adds, almost blushing.
Although happy at her films hitting the bull's eyes, Kaif admits she could not enjoy the success of Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ). "When a film does well, it brings a sense of relief... you hug your director and reminisce about beautiful memories.
But with JTHJ, there is a sense of incompletion. With Yashji not there anymore, the sense of closure never came." Having worked with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, Kaif is now excited about working with Aamir Khan for the first time in Dhoom 3.
"Shooting the first sequence with Aamir in Chicago was fun. We'll now be shooting in Delhi next month," she says, adding, "I love shooting in Delhi. You are away from the Mumbai crowd and yet, feel at home. I loved shooting in Chawri Bazar and Chandni Chowk for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The old-world charm was unique," she says.
Talking about her Christmas plans, she says, "I celebrate New Year and Christmas with my sisters every year in London and they all expect beautiful presents. There is no getting away. I once made the mistake of gifting them jewellery, but now I give them vouchers instead. It's much easier," she says.
