No doubt Shah Rukh and Karan were inseparable but of late a lot has changed. Karan seems to be bonding with SRK's arch nemesis Salman and there's the apparent possibility of them working together. This led people to speculate that he was drifting away from Shah Rukh.
But now Karan Johar has decided not to keep quiet and clear the air once and for all. In an interview to a tabloid, KJo says, "Nothing or no one can ever come between Shah Rukh, Gauri and me." In fact, Karan is currently in London bonding with the Khans, which goes to show that all is well. KJo goes further to silence detractors by stating, "I am here to spend time with Aryan and Gauri.
Shah Rukh, Gauri and I are a unit that has evolved beyond the realms of the film fraternity." Karan goes to show that even if he's bonding with Salman, SRK will never be out of his life. "Shah Rukh is like my older brother, and I am bound to him for emotional, spiritual and professional reasons," he says in the interview.
As for the buzz around who will be cast in Karan's next project - many assumed it would be Salman - the filmmaker makes one thing clear: he assigns roles based on their suitability. However, he admits he finds working with Shah RUkh very exciting especially considering how he gets better with age!
