The actor reassures that he continues to be in touch with Sanjay Gupta and their patch up is for keeps.  Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Gupta patched up at Amitabh Bachchan’s 70th birthday bash. Speculation is that as it was a spur-of-the-moment happening, the duo were not in touch with each other.

But this is far from truth as both are indeed buddies again. Sanjay Dutt, who is riding high on the Rs 100 crore collections of his two films this year says, “I had never fought with Gupta at all. I always spoke nicely about him.

I feel he is one of the finest technicians in the industry today. It was that moment which happened at Amitji’s party and we hugged. Jo bhi hai, it has been in the past and we have had too many moments and many years of being together as friends. I know him since he was an assistant and then we did many films together.”

About the reason for the patch up, Dutt says, “Things change. Ab bachche ho gaye hai hum dono ko. I am in touch with him on a regular basis although we haven’t spoken of making any films together. But we have kept in touch. We have done some of our best work together. We wish each other the best.”
