Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala has been discharged from hospital and is planning to go to US for treatment. Manisha Koirala, who was admitted in Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai, has been discharged on Friday and is planning to visit United States for further treatment.
"We are planning to go to the United States. We haven't decided on the hospital yet. The family is still trying to figure things out," said Mandira Koirala, the actor's sister-in-law. However, the declined to comment on Manisha's illness adn said it was a private matter.
Manisha has undergone several medical tests and investigations at Jaslok Hospital but the hospital sources declined to comment on her illness. "Manisha was discharged from the hospital on Friday morning at 9am and she is doing fine," Krishnakant Dasyam, spokesperson of Jaslok Hospital said.
The actress was admitted to Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday after after she reportedly fell unconscious. Manisha was being treated by Dr Suresh Advani, director of medical oncology at the hospital.
Manisha hails from a prominent political family in Nepal and has worked in several Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam movies. She was last seen at the opening ceremony of the 14th Mumbai Film Festival and the Life of Pi premiere.
