A.R. Murugadoss is an extremely happy man at the moment with the worldwide success of Thuppakki. He is now gearing up to repeat the success in Bollywood with the Hindi version. It is important to note that the film was originally intended to be made in Hindi first with Akshay Kumar. But now the 'Khiladi' wont be complaining as he’s seen the success of the script in the South and is doubly ready to commence filming for this project.
The cast apart from Akshay Kumar is slowly beginning to take shape with Parineeti Chopra reprising Kajal Agarwal's role. The film is set to go on floors very soon. Akshay Kumar was also reportedly signed up for the remake of Ramana, but that project has taken a backseat for now.
