Bollywood villain Rami Reddy is passed away: We regret to announce that Rami Reddy (52), well known for the villain's roles he portrayed in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam and Bhojpuri films, passed away on Thursday at a private hospital in Secunderabad. He was undergoing treatment for kidney ailment for the past couple of weeks. He is survived by two daughters and a son.
The final rites were conducted at Punjagutta crematorium in Hyderabad in Thursday evening. Comedian Brahmanandam termed the sudden demise of Reddy as a big loss for the film industry.
Hailing from Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, Reddy started his career as a journalist before entering the film industry. His debut film as a villain Ankusham (Telugu) in 1989 turned out to be an instant hit, making him a popular figure among moviegoers. Rami Reddy acted in almost 250 films. Some of his best films include Ankusham, Gaayam, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Ammoru, Peddrikam, Osey Ramulamma, Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari and Anji.
