Bollywood reports say that Yash Raj Films will now see superstar Rani Mukherjee playing an active and involved role. Yash Chopra’s sudden demise and Rani’s relationship with Chopra icon Aditya will propel the actress to gain a strong foothold in the top Indian film company.

Reports said the actor took a call on the guest list of talked about premiere of Chopra’s last directorial venture, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ on November 12. Media was not invited for the event at Yash Raj Studios. But the premiere attracted superstars and luminaries from all walks of life, including the film’s cast and crew. ‘JTHJ’ is a love story featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

The producers of the much hyped ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ movie has released a romantic song called ‘Heer’. The track is filmed on Katrina Kaif who sings it for her onscreen love Shah Rukh Khan. Reportedly, there is a kissing scene between Shah Rukh and Katrina. The movie will make it to the screens in Pakistan.

This rubbishes rumors that the film would be banned in the country, as it was believed to have portrayed Pakistan in a negative light. Meanwhile, the Doha Tribeca Film Festival will honor late Yash Chopra with a special tribute. Widely acclaimed as a director who filled his canvas with love and romance, Chopra will have his last movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ screened at the Festival’s fourth and expanded edition, running from November 17 to 24.
