The actor-turned-singer plans to start shooting her much-talked-about remake after Diwali. After Farhan Akhtar’s Don and Karan Johar’s Agneepath, Priyanka is maha excited to start shooting her third remake – Zanjeer, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Producer Amit Mehra, son of the late Prakash Mehra, who produced and directed the original Zanjeer, recently finished the first schedule of his larger-than-life film.

The producer-director duo can’t wait to start shoot shooting with the lead heroine of their film, Priyanka Chopra. “We have planned for a 25-day schedule in Hyderabad where Priyanka will join us for her first long shoot,” Apoorva said.

Sanjay Dutt’s mighty presence as Sher Khan will only add more zing to this project, but all eyes are now set on the film’s lead actors – Priyanka and Ram Charan Teja.
