Arjun Kapoor has admitted that he has started taking acting seriously for the first time. The actor has signed up to three new projects, including Chethan Baghat's 2 States. He told The Times of India: "I am a shy person. I have partied and roamed a lot before I became an actor.

"But now I feel the need to be a little more focused and dedicated to this profession because there are millions of people who want to be where I am and if I take it for granted and ruin it, I will have only myself to blame."

"Double role is difficult for an actor to play and I am excited to take up the challenge and so far it has been great. I am still finding my way around because it is demanding. "When you are playing one you have to remember the other. But it is interesting as it keeps you alert. There is a certain discipline required."

Kapoor will also appear in a new project called Aurangzeb, with his uncle Rishi Kapoor as a co-star. The Ishaqzaade star added: "It is a special movie because I have known Rishi uncle, Jackie [Shroff] uncle, Amrita [Singh] auntie all personally and to leave that behind and face the camera was a good experience.

I had never imagined that I will work with such senior actors." Arjun Kapoor is reportedly in contention with cousin Ranbir Kapoor for the voice of Wreck-It Ralph in Disney's Bollywood version of the film.
